If you use anabolic steroids, make medical monitoring a priority. Strength gains and feeling good cannot tell you everything about your health.
Bloodwork can help identify changes in cholesterol, red blood cell counts, liver and kidney markers, and hormone levels. Discuss a baseline assessment and follow-up during and after use with a qualified clinician. Blood pressure checks matter too.
The NSW Health monitoring guide recommends regular assessment to identify emerging problems associated with anabolic steroid use.
Testing is only useful when you understand the results and act on them. Be honest about the substances, medicines, and supplements you take, and have abnormal findings reviewed.
Normal results do not guarantee that a cycle is safe, and monitoring cannot prevent every complication. It can, however, provide information that symptoms and appearance alone may miss.
Your health deserves the same attention you give your training. Arrange appropriate testing and follow up on the results.
Nobody has answered this yet.
If you have run it, what happened to you is the answer. What you took and for how long, what changed, and your bloodwork if you have it.
You do not need to be an expert. You need to have taken it.
