Peptide reconstitution
Work out the concentration after mixing, the volume per dose, and what that reads on the syringe.
Arithmetic only. It does not say what to take, how often, or whether a peptide is appropriate — and it cannot tell you what is actually in a vial.

Show the working
- Peptide in the vial
- 5 mg = 5000 mcg
- Concentration
- 5000 mcg ÷ 2 ml = 2500 mcg/ml
- Volume per dose
- 250 mcg ÷ 2500 mcg/ml = 0.1 ml
- On a U-100 syringe
- 0.1 ml × 100 = 10 units
- Full doses in the vial
- 5000 mcg ÷ 250 mcg = 20
Units assume a U-100 syringe, where 100 units is one millilitre. The water you add changes the concentration, not the amount of peptide — a vial mixed with twice the water needs twice the volume drawn for the same dose.
